Anita McCurdy

Anita McCurdy serves as the Director of Operations for Freedom Recovery, where

she oversees organizational operations, program implementation, and service

delivery while supporting both staff and the individuals and families served by

the organization. A Colorado Springs native with deep Puerto Rican roots, Anita

brings a strong commitment to advocacy, equity, and community-centered care

to every aspect of her work.

With extensive experience navigating complex systems and connecting

individuals to critical resources, Anita is dedicated to helping people overcome

barriers related to recovery, housing, employment, healthcare, and community

reintegration. Her leadership focuses on building effective programs,

strengthening organizational processes, and ensuring that services remain

responsive to the needs of those seeking support and long-term stability.

Known for her compassionate yet accountable approach, Anita believes that

meaningful change happens when individuals are empowered with the right

tools, guidance, and opportunities. She is passionate about creating pathways to

self-sufficiency and helping others reclaim their voice, strengthen their resilience,

and build fulfilling lives rooted in purpose and hope.
