Azanna Hoaglin-Gallegos

Azanna was born and raised in Colorado Springs and brings a deep sense of compassion and understanding to her work in recovery support. While she has not personally experienced incarceration or active addiction, many of her loved ones have struggled with both throughout her life. One of her greatest influences was her grandfather, who spent much of her childhood in and out of prison while battling addiction. Despite his struggles, he taught Azanna an important lesson that has stayed with her ever since: making a bad decision does not make someone a bad person. His generosity and heart for others left a lasting impact on how she views people and their capacity for change.
Azanna and her mother have long been the backbone of their family, often being the first people others turn to when they need help or support. That spirit of care and reliability led Azanna to pursue a career where she could expand that support beyond her own circle. She is passionate about helping people grow, seeing others for who they truly are rather than the mistakes they have made. Azanna believes that being part of Freedom Recovery allows her to reach more people with compassion, encouragement, and understanding, and she is proud to be a member of the Freedom family.
