Cristal Furrey

Cristal serves as the Programs Director for Freedom Recovery, where her work is both deeply personal and purpose-driven. Her journey to sobriety was made possible through the support, structure, and faith-centered foundation of Freedom Recovery—a journey that transformed not only her life, but her understanding of purpose, service, and calling.

Recovery, for Cristal, is rooted in her relationship with her Savior. That relationship continues to guide her healing, her leadership, and her commitment to living with integrity and intention. Through faith, accountability, and community, she discovered that lasting recovery is not simply about breaking old patterns, but about building a new life grounded in hope and truth.

As Programs Director, Cristal is passionate about creating programs that reflect God’s love through compassion, structure, and consistency. She believes in meeting people where they are, walking alongside them through growth, and helping them discover their own God-given strength. One principle guides her daily work: “The person in front of you may not always be the enemy; the person in front of you may just be the mission.” Freedom Recovery is more than an organization—it is the place where her life was restored, her faith was strengthened, and her mission to serve others was born.
