Isaac Sanchez

Isaac identifies as a sinner saved by grace. A father of an amazing boy named Jacob, Isaac struggled for years with heroin, methamphetamine, alcohol, and fentanyl. Alleyways were his hideaways from the summer heat and jails were his home through cold winters. Isaac knows what it’s like to suffer by the hands of drug addiction. During his 2 year stint in the Department of Corrections, Isaac surrendered to Christ and now lives according to God’s will and not his own. Roots were planted deep in the Word and it began producing fruit, first in his life then in the lives of those around him. He is now the father that he always prayed to be, he is now the son his mother always knew he was, he is now the friend that people trust and love. After working his program, Isaac was given the opportunity to become a House Manager at his sober living program. Working as a peer coach with Freedom Recovery has been the most fulfilling experience Isaac has ever lived and now works tirelessly to share his lived experience and compassion with those who struggle with the same grim realities that he endured for a lifetime to give the same hope that God gave to him in his darkest moments. For the glory of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.
