Jesse

Originally from Fresno, California, Jesse brings resilience, authenticity, and a deep commitment to helping others find recovery. After spending 15 years in active addiction and a total of 13 years incarcerated, he has now been in recovery for 32 months and is dedicated to using his experiences to inspire hope and lasting change. His journey has given him firsthand insight into the challenges of addiction and the courage it takes to build a new life.

Jesse chose to become a Peer Recovery Coach because he knows the impact that genuine support can have. During his own addiction, he often wished there had been someone to help him find a way back to a healthy life. When he discovered Freedom Recovery and witnessed the life changing work being done every day, he knew he had found his calling. Today, Jesse is passionate about helping others overcome obstacles, discover their potential, and realize that recovery is possible for anyone willing to take the first step.
