Laura Van Zwam

Laura Van Zwam has over seven years of experience working with adults and adolescents with complex mental health challenges. She is drawn to complicated problems and systems, consistently inspired by her clients’ ingenuity and resilience, and values being part of their journey toward wellness.

Laura is a Licensed Social Worker in both Colorado and Pennsylvania. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Princeton University. Her work spans three countries and three languages, with experience providing mental health care in refugee camps, state hospitals, halfway houses, hospices, and inpatient facilities. Laura is also an Associate SOMB Treatment Provider and Evaluator working under supervision, bringing depth, adaptability, and compassion to the individuals and communities she serves.
